Fig & Plum Torte
Today is my dad and stepmom’s second wedding anniversary. They were married on an extemely windy day on the beach in Ventura, California. That evening we walked along the bikepath, across railroad tracks, to a dirt path on a short cliff above the beach. Dropping down to the sand, we held our wildly blowing hair and our flapping clothes for a small ceremony of immediate family members. We held on tight that day, stood in the forceful wind, witnessed a wedding, and are reminded that the most celebratory days of our lives may also be the windiest. Such is life.
Happy Anniversary, Dad & Lynn! ❤️
