Whole Wheat Chocolate Cookies Recipe
Mix in a bowl:
3 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
Mix separately in a mixer on low speed until blended:
1 cup butter cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
Add two eggs one at a time until combined.
Mix in 2 teaspoons vanilla.
Add the flour mixture to the mixing bowl and mix on low speed until just combined.
Mix in all of the chocolate chips at once.
Spoon 3 tablespoon mounds onto greased cookie sheets leaving 3 inches between them.
Bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 16-20 minutes.
Keep in an airtight container for three days.
