Quiche Lorraine

Quiche Lorraine Recipe

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Crust: 1 ½ cup flour

1 tsp salt

½ cup butter

4 tbl milk

Press in greased pie pan

Bake 350 degrees for 15 mins

Saute: ½ chopped onion

1 bunch fresh spinach  (2 boxes chopped frzn spinach for girls)

8 oz crushed pineapple

Grate: gruyere cheese and spread thin layer over bottom of crust

Beat: 3 eggs and keep stringy

Add: 1 cup cream

Pour over spinach

Grate more gruyere over top

grated nutmeg on top

May use: asparagus, mushrooms, zucchini, green onion, tomato, basil, swiss or asiago cheese, etc.  (not for girls)

Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes til knife comes out clean

Serves 6-8
